Introduction Letter Layout Guide

When applying for membership into Sfant Umbra all characters are required to have an introductory letter. Please use the following layout:

Screen Name: (Your player name. This would be the name we look to contact you by in-game.)
Character Name: (The name given to your character at birth. This is considered your RP name so both first and last name are required. If you have any nicknames include those in quotes.)
Gender: (Male? Female?)
Race: (Vana'diel's races include Hume, Elvaan, Tarutaru, Mithra, and Galka.)
Age: (How old is your character?)
Main Job: (Your character's main profession.)
Subjob: (Character's secondary profession.)
Other Jobs: (Any other professions your character has/will undertake in the future.)
Birthplace: (Place of birth.)
Residence: (Current residence and nationality.)
Family: (Any family? Siblings, parents, relatives, adopted parents.)

Appearance: (This section is for describing your character's appearance. Sometimes a character may have scars or markings not seen due to DAT limitations. Here you can explain what those may actually look like. Also useful if you use a modified head for your character.)
Character Bio Included? (If you have a Character Bio Sheet place the link here. Otherwise you can just type "No".)

(Text body goes here. It can be a short paragraph or two detailing who your character is, and what services they can bring to Sfant Umbra should they be accepted. Lastly sign it with your character's first and/or last name, no nicknames please.)

When writing your letter unless you provide a character bio (Even with a bio.) we ask you proof-read and spell-check your work before submitting. The letter is considered an in-character application to Sfant Umbra and having one full of spelling errors and grammar mistakes makes your character look incompetent.

After a letter is made please contact a recruiter or wait for a recruiter to contact you. A meeting time will be arranged and a pearl will be distributed in character so be ready to RP and have at least 30 minutes to an hour aside to set up for the RP interview.
