Forum: Rules and Guidelines

Like the LS, rules apply to the forums as well. Before you post, please review them:

* Due to the explicit content of some stories and roleplay elements, we request that all members be of at least 16 years of age or older in order to post or join Sfant Umbra.

* Pictures posted must not page stretch. Please host one on another site or downsize the image before posting. Images containing offensive or pornographic images are forbidden and will be deleted immediately.

* The Gallery is provided to members to share their photos or hosting their signature images. Please keep in mind our forums have a 10MB overall storage limit so try and limit yourself. A donation program may open at a later date to increase the gallery size depending on usage.

* Websites containing warez or illegal activities are forbidden. The same goes for content posted. Any found containing such will be deleted immediately.

* Please post topics in the correct forums. OOC related material should remain in the OOC section and IC material in the IC section. Keep in mind bringing information learned via OOC (Journals, Stories) into IC conversations is considered metagaming and will be dealt with.

* Avatars are limited at 150x200 pixels and signatures should not cause page stretching. Any signatures or avatars found containing offensive material will be modified.

* Posting spam or flame wars will not be tolerated. Our moderators don't have time to waste on such pointless things. Anyone found spamming or flaming will be warned.

* Harassment of any form is not welcomed here or in the linkshell. Those found doing so will be banned.

* In order to comply with age restrictions, all stories posted on the forums must meet the "PG-13" standards. Stories containing mature or otherwise questionable material ("R" rated.) must be labeled with a disclaimer in the name and body before the post begins. This includes those with excessive amounts of profanity. Failure to do so may result in topic deletion and suspension. Posts with graphical content (acts of sexual conduct and/or inappropriate behaviour not fit for public display. Material commonly situated with an "M" rating.) will be removed without warning and offender suspended.

Breaking the rules listed above will result in temporary suspension from the forums or a ban. Admins or moderators found abusing their rights will have their powers revoked and face suspension. So remember to please keep it clean.
