Using the Mission Ledger

When plotting a mission or quest please use the following format:

IC Section

(This is a short section just to describe the event or quest. Try to think of this as a job posting in character to other members about what mission or quest you are taking on. Put some thought into describing it as something that would pass in RP terms. If you need an example view this topic.)

OOC Section

Mission Name: (The name of the quest/mission as it appears.)
Required Expansions: (Please note any and all expansions required.)
Required Fame/Ranks: (Include minimum fame or rank needed.)
Date and Time (PST/PDT): (Date and Time for the event, PST/PDT format.)
Number of Participants: (How many people are you looking for?)
Details About Quest:
(Give full details about the mission or quest. What should we expect to fight, what levels should people be, and what professions are required. Also include what items (animas, triggers, key items) are required.)
Comments: (Any important comments about the quest or mission.)

When posting a request for a mission/quest please give no less than two weeks notice in order to give others time to prepare. Discussions for the event should be kept within the topic it was created for. Good luck!

Adding to the Forum Calendar

Anyone from admin to regular member can post and add events to the forum calendar.

* Create a new topic and enter the information above. Remember it has to be in the Pacific Time Zone (GMT -7:00 Summer, GMT -8:00 Winter) when posting the information.

* After entering your information before you hit "Send" scroll down until you see the "Calendar" settings. Use the drop down boxes to select the day, month, and year for the event.

* Next set the hour of the event. The forum uses a standard 24 hour military time format. Please keep this in mind when entering the times.

00:00-11:00 AM time (12AM to 11AM)
12:00-23:00 PM time (12PM to 11PM)

Also remember the times must be set according to your own time zone, or they will not appear correctly for others. When posting the time it should be in Pacific, but when adding it to the Calendar you must set it to your own time zone to display properly.

* Lastly is the duration. This is for how long the event will last. In most scenarios you can leave this blank otherwise you can add in how many days, hours, or minutes long the event will be.

* After you've checked everything you can at last hit send and post it.

Mission Ledger Use

The Mission Ledger is designed for posting IC or OOC requests such as Assaults, BCNMs, Eco-Warrior, AF quests, or anything else you need help with or want to do. These are considered as jobs given to Sfant Umbra and its mercenaries. Posting a date/time isn't a requirement but helps for planning and using the calendar lets members viewing the forums know what events are happening in the upcoming weeks.

The first body of your thread should contain IC information regarding your request and the bottom contains OOC information about important data and information related to it. So if you have any requests, please post them under the Mission Ledger forum and nowhere else.
