As part of Rise of the Witch there will be battles and minions! Contracts will be made and taken! The details of these will we posted as they are discovered by out intrepid mercenaries! How much you find out and determine will effect the ending! That's right this is an interactive event and whether Sfant Umbra succeeds in stopping Nikkita is up to you!
What Will You Take On?
As part of the LS storyline contract jobs will be made available on minion characters in the storyline but your first job is to discover those minions. These minions can be discovered both in storyline RPs and through personal investigations of the members. If your character mentions something they are going to look into you where you would uncover something you will be sent a /tell or a PM with that information or told you'll have an opportunity to confront a minion.
If you are given information to give out please give it in the form of a story to post in the Archives to expand the story.
As for minions, the IC Details are here in Wanted! (A Notice to All Mercenaries). As minions are discovered a notice will be posted Icly as an open contract for which you can let the event coordinator know you want to set up an RP. In this thread their personal battle stats will be posted so you'll know what rules will be followed.
General Battle Rules and Details
-Randoms are used to determine results. All combatants roll at the same time with their opponents higher wins. In areas where more than one would be engage a battle wave and turn based approach will be taken if needed.
-Nik will only have maximum of 5 Minions. If they are engaged in a fight and killed before the final fight they won't be there. Obviously the more of her minions that are discovered and dispatched the more likely the win for the LS during the final confrontation.
-It will take Nik and her minions a total of successful attacks to defeat your character depending on level. It will be culmulative from all minions present:
Level 70-75: 20 successful
Level 60-65 15 successful
Level 50-55 10 successful
Level 40-45 6 successful
Level 20-35 5 successful
Level 1-15 4 successful
The info below applies to both single and group encounters.
Fight results will be determined by randoms as follows:-Rolling higher than them means a successful action against or them rolling higher than you means they successfully evade and thier action is successful.
-When fighting spells are based on what is available at person’s level and subjob.
- After 5 succesful attacks a WS actually on the person’s list can be used against Nikki and her minions. One successful weapon skill equals 2 normal attacks against them.

- If two successful attacks preying upon their weaknesses are used it results in a KO. Weaknesses must be discovered by player's IC knowledge.
Special TraitsA) They can pick 2 special abilities and if they are to use them (to aviod god-modding) these must either be written in a thread reserved for them or stated before the battle started. These cannot be changed mid-combat.
B) Two corresponding weakness must be chosen and used along with the strength. These can be elemental or damage related. Weaknesses always count for 2 damage points rather than 1 when used againts your character.
C) These special attacks can be assigned a certain roll number to be successful to make it more fair.
D) For special abilities you may choose something that is unique to your character or a Job Ability.
E) For long acting job abilities they can only be up for 3 turns.
F) Special abilites can only be used once per fight.
Pet Guidelines1) It takes two turns to summon a pet during battle. Can be interrupted by a roll 500+ by an opponent.
2) All pet's attacks hit for 1 point of damage on regular or 2 if there is a weakness (ie Elemental and Beast weaknesses and strengths). This also applies to attacks against the pet also.
3) All pets can be defeated with 5 successful hits.
4) 1 preselected pet job ability (ie Pet move, Blood pact) can be used per battle counting for 2 hits. You may preselect 2 abilities from which to choose from during battle. These will be chosen before the battle begins and cannot be changed midbattle.
5) 1 preselected pet special move (ie WS or spell) can be used per battle. You may preselect 2 abilities from which to choose from during battle. These will be chosen before the battle begins and cannot be changed midbattle.
6) You can fight along side your pet at any time during battle but if you do your opponent can choose whether to attack you or the pet. This includes spells.
7) If you choose to send the pet to fight by itself your opponent can only attack your pet. If there are multiple opponents one can engage your pet and one can engage you.
