Year One
Have you ever wondered what life during the biblical times were like? Well Harold Ramis answers your questions with Year One.
There is truly not much to be said about Year One. Michael and Jack give their best performance as characters they behave the same as their countless other characters, and most of their jokes are worth a chuckle at best. The biblical characters themselves (Isaac, Abraham, etc.) are treated to a bit of humor as well, but the bulk of the movie takes place in Sodom before its apparent destruction by God.
With the occasional sexual/gay joke, along with situational humor, the movie is not completely without laughs, but can only be recommended to fans of Jack Black, nothing more.
