Sfant Umbra began as a secret mercenary business within the depths of the Aht Urhgan Empire. With the rise and fall of business it slowly faded from memory. That is, until a descendant of the creator happened across some old parchments one day...

Zombieland

The zombie apocalypse; perhaps the most used vision of the future or near future in media history, also (according to current science) the most likely to happen in a form of way (Google it, they really believe it could). Because of its wide use, the internet is covered with various survival skills when it comes to zombies. From a whole list of rules, to plain out having a "Zombie Plan", everyone loves the thought of living through the zombie apocalypse. Who wouldn't want to fire a shot gun in the face of some mad man who wants to eat your face off?

Coming to join the all ready long list of Zombie movies is Zombieland; perhaps the second widely known comedy style zombie movie (the first being Shaun of the Dead). How does it far up with the rest of the movies? Oh does it ever.

Lets start with the start of the apocalypse. Everyone and their grandmother knows the most likely way a zombie apocalypse starts now. A disease; so this movie forgoes any form of scene that shows so much as a jar breaking in a lab. You are instead told through a inner monologue that mentions it was probably a mutated Mad Cow disease virus. So you are all ready thrust into the world of zombies.

Through out the movie, you are treated to the various rules that one should follow to survive. Such as: Avoid public bathrooms, buckle up, double tap (shot them twice), etc. Not only are they informative, they also provide set up for some of the movies funny scenes.

Lets cut to the chase here, Zombieland is by far a perfect movie. It may have been because I watched it only once now, but I could not see any kind of problem with this movie. The acting was out standing, the zombies were bloody and amazing, the humor very top-notch. Every down time is immediately followed by a perfect comedy relief that never feels cheesy or pushed in too fast.

Woody Heralson plays a bad ass character. Take Ash (Bruce Campbell), Blade, Punisher (Thomas Jane's) and roll them into one, lover of zombie killing, and you get Tallahassee. He is every bit of the stereotypical bad ass survivor.
Spoiler:

Then there's Columbus, a teen aged college student, who only survived because of how much of a shut in he was. This is the guy who spent every day either going to class, or staying up all night on WoW, with cups of Mountain Dew Code Red, wishing he could just find a woman that would like him for who he is. So the apocalypse sort of came and settled in with out him noticing until he was attacked. This is our list creator, and stereotypical overly cautious survivor.

There are also two girls, teen aged Wichita and her little sister Little Rock (yes these characters name themselves by their city to avoid attachment), are the stereotypical con-artist style survivors. Conning the two men out of their truck and weapons when they first meet.

If you're into Zombies, and dark/slap stick humor, you need to see this movie. This movie is utterly flawless, and did what it promised with flying colors. If you have not seen it yet, SEE IT! No other words can describe how great this movie was.
